Why does St. Augustine Church need this ministry?

missio:Engage! is a two-year mission which endeavors to help bring our Rocklin Church community closer to God's Kingdom.

What do team members do?

  • Meet online with the national Church Missioner Tom Brackett through a series of webinars

  • Use the missio:Engage! creative curriculum

  • Evoke the faith stories and gifts of our congregation

  • Learn new skills; experiment with new models for leadership

  • Explore a strengths-based approach to ministry

Suggested Skills:

  • An open mind and a discerning heart

  • A creative spirit

  • A willingness to let God lead

Time required:

  • Approximately four hours a week

Will I work alone or as part of a team?

  • Online webinars every other week with teams around the country

  • During the week, the local team meets to work on strategies and actions
